Folding tables and transport trolleys for Port Aventura

Ideal for catering and events

For the Port Aventura project, the client requested the design of a versatile table for different uses at events and catering functions held at the park's Convention Centre.

It was important for the assembly and dismantling of events that the table had a simple installation system and that the storage volume was as small as possible.

For this reason, the possibility of storing the tables in transport trolleys was considered.

Unnom's Design and Development department offers the client two table models: one rectangular and one round, but with the same assembly system in both cases to facilitate the work of maintenance personnel.

Due to the number of events that take place at Port Aventura, the design must provide the added value of a system that can be assembled and disassembled without the need for tools.

The tables consist of two separate elements: tabletop and frame, so that they can be assembled and disassembled with a simple operation and without the need for tools.

40x20 mm painted steel frame
28 mm thick melamine tabletop

Due to the simplicity of the two elements that make up the tables, a practical storage system was devised for moving and storing the tables.

This consists of a transport and storage trolley with a capacity for up to ten tables, meaning that ten structures with their corresponding ten table tops can be stored on the same trolley.

A customised project for Port Aventura

The project for tables and trolleys for Port Aventura has been the basis for the creation of the TAB product family in the Unnom catalogue.

Several subsequent projects have been carried out, tailor-made for other clients, to whom the size of the tops and the height of the structures have been adapted to suit their needs.
